Our mission is to help our clients leave a distinctive, lasting, positive mark on the world through their careers while creating and experiencing fun, joy, and connection wherever they go. We’re building a community that inspires, develops, and retains caring, driven people.
Here are the core values we hold ourselves to:
We know the one thing that is always in our control is how we think, so we choose to see ourselves and the world in a way that inspires us. We see what’s best in our clients and help them express their gifts and chase their dreams. We don’t buy into disempowering perspectives or weakness thinking. Can’t isn’t a thing around here.
Life is supposed to be fun and joy is our measure of success. No matter how much we achieve, if we don’t have fun doing it, what’s the point? We’re not trying to be better, more productive, or more perfect people, we’re going for a more consistent experience of joy for ourselves and others.

We build relationships based on trust and affinity and develop one another’s capabilities through apprenticeship and mentoring. Together, we’re making the world a more hospitable place for all.

Protocol = a system of rules and acceptable behavior
Career Protocol = the system of rules and acceptable behavior that make for an awesome career.
It includes all three core aspects of communication:

It’s not a secret formula. There’s tons of research out there telling you that cultivating self-awareness, communication skills, and relationships are your keys to long term success.
But you don’t need research to tell you that. Look at your own experiences. Don’t you love work more when you like the people you’re working with? Isn’t it more fun and more effective to collaborate? And isn’t work more fulfilling when your impact and work product mean something to YOU?
Just interview anyone who’s had a career you admire. Whether they use these words or not, you will hear them between the lines. This is because…

Consulting = An outsourced brain to help you sort through your stuff: to see the bigger picture, strategize, and make good choices.
All successful companies use consultants because if you want to see the bigger picture, you need a second pair of eyes. With professional, objective, and informed input, you can see way beyond your view of any problem or circumstance. And way beyond your limited view of yourself too.
Training = the action of teaching a person or animal a particular skill or type of behavior.
We haven’t ever trained animals in the Career Protocol, so hopefully you’re human. But it’s important to understand that first and foremost, we are teachers.
This is what differentiates us from a lot of folks who do the same kinds of things we do. We’ve spent years learning how to break down complex concepts and behaviors into intuitive actionable steps and then show them to you in a way that makes you really think.
We don’t just talk at you, we create experiences so that you can try out some of these awesome tools yourself, apply them in your life, and make them yours. If you like them, that is. If not, at least you’re learning how to try a new perspective.
